How to reach us
The location of the Castagneto House is easily accessible from Brescia, Verona, Mantova and Trento but also simultaneously from the Valvestino and from the wildness of the Garda Park.
For the territory the best car is an off-road car since the last 200 meters are unpaved and very steep.
If the car is not able to reach the house, on arrival and departure is guarantee a free shuttle transport of people and luggage from the car park at the heliport of Navazzo to Castagneto House (less than 10 minutes walk), by prior arrangement when booking. Is possible leave your car in this parking and walk there from home.
Most navigation sistem give wrong directions. If you are driving on Gardesana Occidentale in northern direction (from Salò to Riva), at Bogliaco town many navigation sistem indicate to turn left in town Villavetro. This is a mistake that will make you go the wrong way.
By car
From Brennero (A22)
Exit Rovereto Sud, follow the direction to Brescia. When you arrive in Gargnano, turn right before following the road sign Navazzo, Lago d'Idro e Valvestino. Drive 8 km following the road signs to "VILLA SOSTAGA" until you find the heliport's parking on the left. Follow the paved road leaving the entrance traffic light of "Villa Sostaga" to the left, keep left at the first intersection on the road which then becomes rough, after about 700 meters you see the sign "Farm house Castagneto" and the road goes down to left up to our gate.
Motorway Milano-Venezia (A4)
Motorway A4 exit Brescia Est, direction Salò, Riva del Garda; drive along the GARDESANA SS45bis, after Salo’ you will arrive in Toscolano-Maderno and then to Garganano, turn right before following the road sign Navazzo, Lago d'Idro e Valvestino. On request is available a shuttle service from Brescia Station and from the main airports (costs on request).
